Soon Valley is in the north of Khushab District, Punjab, Pakistan. Its largest settlement is the town of Naushera. The valley extends from the village of Padhrar to Sakesar, the highest peak in the Salt range. highest peak in the Salt Range. The valley is 35 miles (56 km) long and has an average width of 9 miles (14 km). It covers a 300-square-mile (780 km2) area. Soon Valley has much scenic beauty, with lakes, waterfalls, jungle, natural pools and ponds. The valley has been settled since ancient times, including by the Awan tribe, whose descendants still live in the valley.

Being as a tribe of Arabs origin, the local people follows Islamic culture and traditions. Traditionally the marriages are arranged according to the Islamic traditions and wedding ceremony usually takes place at the mosques. Nikah is attended by close family members, relatives, and friends of groom and bride. Usually, the men and women are made to sit separately, in different rooms, or have a purdah (curtain) separating them. Luddi is famous folk dance on occasions of happiness. Also dhol and shehnai are famous musical instruments for celebrations

soon sakesar is present on the northwest side of khushab and the main villages of soon sakesar are uchali, Padhrar, Pail-Piran, Naushahra, Mardwal, Kufri, Khoora, Anga , Khabakki , kuradhi etc. Uchali is the most beautiful place in soon sakesar it is situated along with sakesar hill. The most beautiful lake of soon sakesar is ochali lake and it is wide and big then other lakes of soon valley a road crossing this lake named as sumera malik road although it is construct for the communication of a village named as CHITTA but unfortunately a 14 hour rain stops it in between the lake and it can't be completed at that time now it is a picking point for people and a man named KHAN MUHAMMAD starts boating here so mostly at evening a rush of people looks there that gathering of people makes an very pleasant sights.
